Pyramid Entertainment is a booking agency, management and artist representation company providing established and emerging artistes with a range of services to increase their earning potential and exposure in traditional and non-traditional music markets.

Created in 2004, the company presently represents artistes from a variety of musical genres. At its helm are attorney-at-law Santia Bradshaw, director Ruel Ward and entertainment consultant, Jerome Hamilton of Jamaican partner company - Headline Entertainment, together with a diverse team of local, regional and international entertainment consultants.

In addition to its core services, Pyramid also offers press kit support, tour support, industry showcasing, entertainment consultancy, negotiates endorsements and licensing deals for its artistes and offers legal advice.

From its inception, the company has played an active role in organizing educational seminars about the business of music and creating platforms for established and emerging artistes to showcase their talents. In 2006, the company co-produced the Bridging the Music Seminar and Showcase and two years later with assistance from the European Union, it produced the Barbados Music Seminar and Showcase.

By late 2007, the company had expanded its roster to include some of the leading Barbadian artistes and deejays and had begun to transform the local music industry with the introduction of standardized contracts and procedures for booking talent. The structured approach which the company had brought to the industry attracted the attention of the Barbados Government’s Enterprise Growth Fund and the company soon became the recipient of grant funding to assist with the development, promotion and marketing of its roster of acts for export.

The company immediately embarked on a series of promotional and marketing campaigns designed to raise the profiles of the artistes in all social media and to penetrate new markets. It also expanded its roster to include several other Caribbean artistes and through its sister company Pyramid Music Group - a multi media music content label, several of the artistes managed by Pyramid Entertainment have benefited from full and partial “360 degree” agreements. Together, the two entities have produced over 14 music videos, commercially released and licensed three albums and made available several entertainment programmes and behind the scenes footage about the business of entertainment into several mainstream markets.

In February, 2009, and January, 2010 Pyramid Entertainment participated in MIDEM the world’s largest international music expo together with a delegation of music entrepreneurs to seek export opportunities for the Caribbean creative sector. In October of the same year, the company joined a delegation of other Caribbean music executives at WOMEX, the World Music Expo in Copenhagen, Denmark to explore export opportunities for the Caribbean creative sector since the signing of the Economic Partnership agreement.

Pyramid is an active member of the Barbados Association of Music Entrepreneurs and one of the leading advocates for greater recognition of the creative sector by Caribbean Governments. Whether in an advisory capacity or actively involved in the business of music, Pyramid Entertainment has emerged as one of the leading entertainment companies in the Caribbean.
