As we roll into the new year, we can look back and say that 2009 certainly was a busy year for Skinny Fabulous. Over the last couple of months he was able to retain his Vincy soca monach title, perform across the region and in North America all while as a final year university student. However, in addition to all this Skinny Fabulous has been making preparations for the release of his debut self-titled album early in 2010.

Two-time Vincy soca monarch Skinny Fabulous received a grant from The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority in support of his first music video. The project will see a music video being created for his 2008 soca monarch winning track 'De Beast Leh Go'.

Skinny Fabulous has been making his presence felt in the soca arena over the last couple of years gaining regional and international popularity with songs including 'De Beast Leh Go' and 'Head Bad'.

Antigua based Guyanese went into a screaming frenzy when Timeka Marshall hit the stage at Paradise Lawn for the show dubbed ‘One More Night’. For her first time performing in Antigua, Timeka was greeted by enthusiastic fans who knew each of her songs and even offered back up. She was the first performer after the intermission and her performance was indicative of how much she has developed as an artist since winning the jingle competition that brought her into the limelight.

“It was great. I was shocked in fact but had a good time and I know the audience did as well. I felt their vibe and was able to connect,” said the sultry singer
