As the second season of Open Mic comes to a close on the 11th December, 2008, Pyramid gets ready to release a new single "Woman" from emerging act Prosperity Yout. This 23 year old artist dominated the stage during Season and continues to be a regular performer at the weekly sessions. Distinguished from the other performers for his command of the stage, an extensive repertoire of songs and his overpowering enthusiasm, Prosperity Yout recently recorded in Jamaica with Richard "Shams" Browne.

The Second season was focused heavily on tapping into some of the island's reggae talent and one performer will also be selected to record with him in Jamaica.

The Open Mic team remains committed to providing a forum for emerging artistes to perform and hone their skills in front of a live audience. By creating a non-competitive environment artistes freely express themselves and Pyramid's roving team of local, regional and international music executives pass through weekly to catch a piece of the action and comment on the abilities of the emerging talent. As Season two comes to a close, plans are on stream for Lil Rick aka the Hypa Dawg to host Season 3 starting in January, 2009 for what promises to become an ever more hyped free jam session that Braddie's Bar has seen to date.
