Guyanese beauty Timeka Marshall looks set to become the country’s first female star with the rising popularity of her latest single “All Night”. Timeka recently released the single in her hometown when she performed as one of the opening acts at the Mash Nite Show at the GCC Grounds in Guyana alongside an impressive line up comprising Maxi Priest, Shurwayne Winchester and his band Y.O.U, Serani, Peter Ram and Biggie Irie. The impressive music video for the single which was shot in Jamaica by Jay Will of Jay Will Films is steadily climbing the RETV Video Countdown charts at position #7 and will shortly enter rotation of MTV and TEMPO networks.
Having already created quite a repertoire of songs with some of Jamaica’s biggest producers including Clive Hunt, Preston Onfroy and the impressive Stephen McGregor of Big Ship Studios, Timeka has recently started to work on collaborations with some of that country’s leading dancehall and reggae superstars. Since winning a jingle competition in Guyana, the songstress burst onto the music scene and has not looked back since. As the world continues to watch the emergence of talent from the Barbados and the rest of the region Timeka may well be on her way to secure a major record deal for her native country Guyana.
