| Skinny's 'Fetting On' Gets Thumbs Up |

Since its premiere on Dr. Jay’s Soca Therapy show on Sunday, there have been clamours to download ‘Fetting On’, Skinny Fabulous’ first-ever collaboration with international soca king Machel Montano and the reviews have been great.  “Based on the response that the song has been receiving, I anticipate it will be a hit for Trinidad Carnival and beyond”, explained the two time Vincy soca monarch Skinny Fabulous who has already earned a place in the 2010 International Soca Competition in Trinidad and Tobago. The track produced by Alex Barnwell is a high energy, infectious piece which incorporates a sweet soca brass from Rohan Bellingy that will get you hooked from the first listen. ‘Fetting On’ pays homage to all the reasons we love carnival, and does so in true Fabulous and HD style. But don’t be surprised, you wouldn’t expect anything less when you combine the playful, lyrical creativity of Skinny Fabulous with the charismatic in-studio energy of Machel Montano. The energetic artiste will be making the first live performance of the song at the Tropical Sunset Lounge in Toronto on December 19 for Dr. Jay’s Appreciation Party . He will be sharing his Caribbean soca heat to aid Torontonians with their pre-Trini Carnival prep and warming them up after the winter chill that overcome the city last week. Fadda Fox of Staggerah fame will also be making a live appearance at the party. In addition to ‘Fetting On’ , Skinny Fabulous has two other releases for the 2010 Trinidad Carnival season, ‘Badder Than Everybody’ and ‘Summer Body’ |
