PowerX4, one of the leading carnival bands on the island of Barbados, held their Old Year’s night and “customer appreciation” party on New Year’s Eve. Titled “PowerX4 Gives Back” the event was held at the Party Stand, one of the island’s premier party arenas and featured some of the islands top entertainers.

Peter Ram, Biggie Irie and newcomer Verseewild from the Pyramid camp along with the dynamic Krosfyah brought the crowd to the venue in droves leaving barely any moving space when the doors where flung open. Notwithstanding the clearly packed jam session, a good time was had by all as they rang in the New Year with some of the old and new hits from the artistses. Peter Ram took the crowd way back with some of his earlier renditions whilst the mellow teddy bear Biggie Irie kept the crowd grooving with his 2008 hit “Big Girlz”. The energy infused Verseewild gave the crowd a special treat with a performance of his Crop Over hit “Push It Back” and accompanying him was one of his dancers “Ahzam Bumper”.

The night proceeded without a hitch and with the occasional interjections by some of the nation’s most popular deejays, the crowd partied until the wee hours of the morning. But alas, all good things come to an end and patrons reluctantly left, many reveling in what a good time was had. Congratulations to Chetwyn Stewart of PowerX4 and the Krosfyah family for creating an excellent event. Pyramid Entertainment looks forward to working with you both in 2009.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
