| Bajan Artists Unite For Haiti Relief Concert and Telethon |

Big names in r&b, gospel, calypso, jazz, reggae, dancehall and spouge music will join Trinidadian entertainer David Rudder in the fund-raising concert at Farley Hill National Park on Saturday, January 30. Pyramid artists Philip 7, Lil Rick and Buggy Nhaknete are among the entertainers in the concert lineup. Arturo Tappin, Nicholas Brancker, TC, Adrian Clarke, Edwin Yearwood, Grynner, John King, Red Plastic Bag, Gabby, the Merrymen, Mya Daniel, Sister Marshall, Kareen Clarke, Carlyn Leacock, Richard Stoute, Tony Grazette are also taking part in the big show with at least seven bands expected to perform. The concert is dubbed Haiti - Barbados Loves You and runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. With a ticket rice of BBD$10, the public is being asked to purchase as many tickets as they can even if they don't intend to attend the event. There will be a telethon being held simultaneously at Kensington Oval. |
